MVAR Community Foundation Scholarship Application
The MVAR Community Scholarship supports students who are committed to strengthening their communities through service, leadership, and advocacy. This scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors and recent graduates from Marion, Polk, and Linn counties who demonstrate a passion for addressing challenges related to affordable housing, homelessness, and support for disadvantaged children and families. Through this scholarship, MVAR seeks to invest in future leaders who are dedicated to improving community pride, livability, and opportunity for all.
Scholarship Details
- Scholarship Amount: Up to $1,500 per applicant.
- Usage of Funds: Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, books, and other educational expenses only.
Timeline
- Application Deadline: June 1, 2026
- Notification of Recipients: No later than June 15, 2026.
- Award Ceremony: To be held at an MVAR General Membership meeting.
